The St. Stephen's Middle School's three History Bowl teams traveled to their first regional competition on January 4 near Baltimore, Md.
Led by their supervising teacher, Beth Lichtenwalner (St. Andrew's, Harrisburg), the three teams all did very well, and one of them finished 2nd place overall. They have qualified for the National History Bowl again this year. They were also given honorable mention for the highest participation from any school in the competition because over 50% of the middle school participate in History Bowl. They were also complimented for being one of the best behaved groups there, showing excellent teamwork. Yay St.
Stephen's!
