St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Shippensburg, entertained the locals on May 21 with an Episcopal Block Fair for all ages to enjoy.

Attractions featuring a climbing wall and inflatable slide for the youth; yoga and tai chi demonstrations; the band Landslide playing through the day; organ and Celtic harp music in the church at a number of different points; and displays by local organizations such as Shippensburg Produce Outlet, EMT’s, Midget Football, and Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter. Face painting, armchair massage, food, drinks and Italian Ice were also available.

After a rainy week, attendees were greeted by bright sunshine and comfortable temperatures in which to enjoy the fair. The Rev. Christine Purcell, interim rector of St. Andrew's, said, "It is a wonderful opportunity for people of all ages from all walks of life to come together, enjoy a sunny day, good music, and fun while learning a little bit about local organizations like the Shippensburg Produce Outreach and Midget Football. St. Andrew’s, the Episcopal Home and the Episcopal Square are pleased to be making this possible."
