Loading...At its convention in Sao Paulo this week, the Episcopal Diocese of Sao Paulo, Brazil, renewed its covenant for partnership with the Diocese of Central Pennsylvania.
The partnership began under Bishop Creighton and former Sao Paulo Bishop Hiroshi Ito, and it has continued under Bishop Baxter and Bishop Roger Bird of Sao Paulo. The renewal—which was endorsed at our Diocesan Convention in June of this year—will extend the companionship arrangement for another seven years.
As part of the Convention events, Bishop Baxter was a preacher at the English language liturgy held at the Cathedral in Sao Paulo on the morning of August 22. He is pictured at left with the other participants in the Eucharist.
