Mt. Calvary, Camp Hill, Honors Rector's Academic Achievement

Mt. Calvary, Camp Hill, honored The Rev. Dr. Duncan Johnston, rector, with a gift in honor of his recent completion of a doctorate from Virginia Theological Seminary.

Senior Warden Elizabeth Steck of Mount Calvary Church, Camp Hill, presented a stole to The Rev. Dr. Duncan Johnston in honor of his achieving his Doctor of Ministry degree in Ministry Development. His thesis explored the role of intergenerational worship in the Christian formation of children and adults based on the perspective that a diet of exclusively age-segregated worship has failed to form children and adults in the faith, and that worship that is designed for all ages can meet some of this deficit.
