Loading...Church school students in Wellsboro become confirmands.
 |
Two years ago on Sunday, March 1, 2009, Church School at St. Paul's/Wellsboro studied clergy and their vestments. As the Church School teachers described to the parents, "... they talked about the way that we all have gifts to help one another (1 Cor. 12:4-6). And, following last week's visit by Canon Hinton to talk about the Priest, today they talked about the Bishop. They looked at pictures of our Presiding Bishop Katherine Jefferts Schori and Bishop Nathan Baxter of our own Diocese of Central Pennsylvania. For their craft project, Miss Laura helped each of the children to make a Bishop's mitre."

Pictured following their April 10, 2011 confirmation with Bishop Baxter are acolytes Renee (11) and Richie Tardieu (13)-- and "Bishop" Renee Tardieu, center, with fellow Church School students in their 2009 mitres.
