Bishop Nathan Baxter opened the conference with a blessing of the clergy. During the three day conference, a Fireside Chat was hosted by The Rt. Rev. Edward Little of the Diocese of Northern Indiana on same gender blessings; Canon Kortright Davis, Howard University, presented Tuesday on Anglicanism and Evangelism. The conference wrapped up Wednesday with a closing Eucharist in which the Rt. Rev. Nathan Baxter entrusted his "staff" to the Rt. Rev. David Jones, who will shepherd the diocese until the return of Bishop Baxter from a three month sabbatical.
