It was a beautiful, warm day at the Links at Gettysburg when 54 players from throughout the Diocese assembled for the annual golf tournament to vie for the Bishop’s Cup.

Following play, an excellent buffet dinner was held on the terrace with a magnificent view, and prizes were raffled off.   A special drawing for the door prize of an Odyssey putter was made by Bishop Nathan Baxter. The winner was Keith Mummert, a member of Prince of Peace Episcopal Church in Gettysburg and Chair of the Diocesan Finance Committee.  Approximately $3,400 in net proceeds was raised, a record amount.

The winners of the well played tournament with a net score of 58 were members of one of the teams from St. James Episcopal Church, Lancaster:  Bill Dunn, Scott Haiges, Jason Przystup and Kit Slaugh.  Runners up with a net score of 62 were last year’s winners from Prince of Peace:  John Stevenson, Mark Wivell, Ben Jones and Keith Mummert.
